New Manifesto needed

Over the past few years the protests over the war, well over anything the US does have always seemed one sided to me. A not so small minority of left leaning peace activists start a protest. Witch is then shown on TV and made to look like 10’s of thousands instead of 1000’s.

I think it’s time these groups start protesting where I think it will do more good. What’s the point of picketing the Israeli embassy in Britain? when you good do a better job in Israel. It’s time the protestors took their ideas and slogans to Iran to protest nuclear disarmament, or how about going to Saudi Arabia and protesting big oil.

I’m not surprised why leave a cushy protest area and look like you’re doing something. It’s time these peace groups stopped and looked at what their protesting, It’s time they rewrote their ideas to the 21st century instead of the 1980’s.

Sarah Baxter seems to get it

I'm sure folks would love to protest in Iran and Saudi Arabia. But they wouldn't come back. They'd be beaten with reeds at best, "disappeared" or executed at worst. The whole sign-waving, slogan-chanting protest deal only really works in places where free speech is a right, or the movement outnumbers or co-opts the soldiers.

Oh, and Sarah Baxter's quote only seems to be talking about liberal crackpot women, not the kind I know. Hell, even Tammy Bruce is on our side! Makes me wonder why Nancy Pelosi isn't.

I want them to go to these places and protest. I want them to see what they are protesting for. Baxter has it right, althought she anly speaks about a specific set a liberal crackpot women I pretty sure she was forming an opinion on all these protestors who's idealogy needs some shock therapy.

Tammy Bruce is articuale and well spoken why shouldn't she be on the side of reason, as for Pelosi who needs her, this lady has a giant case of foot in mouth disorder.
